When planning out my scouting trip to Florida, which starts today, my goal was to get to as many top guys as possible, mining Low-A and the Florida Complex Leagues (FCL). A few of the complexes in Florida have closed their complexes to media and fans due to rising COVID-19 infection levels, which has devastated and halted the Phillies FCL. Thankfully, I’ve found other complexes to visit. However, my Low-A grab bag of top guys shrunk by one a week ago when Orelvis Martinez (SS, TOR) was called up from Low-A Dunedin to High-A Vancouver.
