The dog days of summer mean different things for different keeper-league owners. If you are in contention for your league title, you have exhausted every avenue to lock up a league championship like making trades to solidify weaknesses and scouring the waiver wire to find depth on your bench. For the other 75%-to-90% of fantasy owners, you're out of contention.
