MINORS: 2016 Top first base prospects

This week we continue our annual review of the top prospects in baseball by position. Between now and Opening Day, we'll examine one position a week and look at both those rookies ready to contribute in the big leagues in 2016, as well as run-down of the top 15 long-term prospects at each position.

This week we focus on first base. While most teams view first base as a traditional source of power, clubs are reluctant to use early round picks on prospects that are limited to first. The upshot is that most of the best first baseman in the majors started their careers at other positions.
