MINORS: 2013 top OF prospects

 

This week we continue our annual review of the top prospects in baseball by position, focusing on the outfield. Unlike other positions, there are a handful of outfielders who could play prominent roles for their clubs in 2013—whether it be early in the season or later. Just over one-quarter (26) of the HQ100 are outfielders, led by Wil Myers (TAM). While quite a number of these prospects will see significant playing time this season, there are several others lurking in the lower minors who have tantalizing upsides and plentiful tools.
