MINORS: 2012 Arizona Fall League Wrap-up

There are lots of reasons for one to be careful with Arizona Fall League statistics. For one, it's a very small sample; the season is just 32 games long. Second, it's set in Phoenix, a high-altitude area that often inflated offensive performances (just ask the spring training teams that train there that can't find their stroke in April). And third, it's always been a hitter's-heavy league, and this year was no exception. 

Still, we look and dream on stats, and the fact that some players are attempting their final shot at the 40-man roster, while others are just getting in AB or IP due to a lost season of injury, and still others are learning a new position or focusing on a specific skill necessary...
