The Cardinals promoted the 26-year-old after optioning 1B Chad Huffman to Triple-A. You won’t see Voit on any top prospect list nor does he have the pedigree of many that one would see on such a list. However, the right-handed hitter has produced at every stage of the minors since he was selected in the 22nd round of the 2013 draft.
