Rowley made six appearances (three starts) for the Blue Jays last season, and he was covered in this same Call-Ups section in August 2017 (which can be accessed via his Pitcherlink page under the "News" tab). Noted at that time was his semi-unusual path to the majors that consisted of being a West Point grad, taking time off for a two-year service period in the Army, and then resuming his career with surprisingly effective results.
