A 600K, overslot sign from 2014, the 6’2”, 200-pound flamethrower features nasty stuff and a complicated profile. Scott’s FA is at least a 70-grade pitch and some scouts have hung a true 80 on it. It regularly hits 100-mph and features impressive sink and run. He backs it up with SL that flashes plus and has improved since Baltimore inserted him in the rotation in 2017. Everything plays up due to the deception in his delivery. With all that said, calling Scott’s command "below-average" is kind, as evidenced by his career 6.5 Ctl rate.
