Injuries and poor performances at the major league level have opened the door for Cron, Anaheim’s first-round pick in 2011. The 6’4”, 235 lb. 24-year-old has always had plus power from the right side, with his impressive bat speed allowing him to catch up to premium heat while also showing good ability to hit off-speed pitches. And though it’s been mainly pull power, over the past season he’s learned to go the opposite direction.
