SPECULATOR: Snap judgments, 2020

We're all itching to (over)-react to what's happening over the first two weeks of the season, and maybe this year we should.

Exercising excruciating patience—a staple mantra here over the years—is typically the prudent thing to do, but in a 60-game sprint we have to make roster decisions based on small-sample data. Doing so last year might have won some leagues. Pete Alonso (1B, NYM) did, in fact, take home the NL Rookie of the Year, while coverboy Ketel Marte (2B, ARI) definitely made good on that "career year" we speculated on last April.
