SPECULATOR: In-season pitch mix changes

Earlier this season, we looked at several SP who switched up their April pitch mix compared to 2017. The pitchers featured in that column have largely enjoyed profitable seasons for their Average Draft Position (ADP). That initial crop, ordered by year-to-date BPV:

Pitcher          ADP   ERA  xERA  BPV
===============  ===  ====  ====  ===
Corbin, Patrick  227  3.26  2.86  159
Paxton, James     74  3.70  3.20  159
Cole, Gerrit      77  2.54  3.03  154
Bauer, Trevor    131  2.32  3.09  152
Pivetta, Nick    431  4.85  3.38  152
Greinke, Zack     49  2.96  3.33  147
Nola, Aaron       61  2.42  3.27  126
Porcello, Rick   237  4.03  3.87  117
Gibson, Kyle     436  3.42  3.89   88
