DR HQ: Molina's problematic knee

Yadier Molina (C, STL)
Injury: Sprained right knee. The good news is he doesn’t have any cartilage or ligament damage.
DL date: July 31
Estimated DL time: Because his diagnostic tests ruled out the serious stuff, as soon as he can get the swelling down he’ll start drills. He should return 15-18 days of his DL date.
Estimated 2013 effect upon return: None

Melky Cabrera (OF, TOR)
Injury: Strained left knee
DL date: August 2
Estimated DL time: He was off the DL less than two weeks ago with a very similar injury on the same leg. He should need 17-24 days of DL time before he’s ready for game action again.
Estimated 2013 effect upon return:  None expected

Miguel Montero (C, ARI)
Injury: Strained lower back
DL date: July 2
