A couple of things to mention before getting to specific injuries. The first is obvious: We're getting to the point in the season where even minor injuries can amount to being out for the season. There's a little less than five weeks left in the season, so even a two-week absence represents a significant loss in value. Second, we're about to see a wave of DL activations. Many teams wait until rosters expand on Sept. 1 to activate non-elite players from the DL to better manage their rosters. So there's that.
