Indications are that the team is prepared to listen to offers for several of its veteran players. Today we’ll look at the pitching side of things where Cliff Lee (LHP, PHI), A.J. Burnett (RHP, PHI), Kyle Kendrick (RHP, PHI), Jonathan Papelbon (RHP, PHI) and Antonio Bastardo (LHP, PHI) could potentially be dealt.

What happens if one of the starting pitchers is traded? As we have discussed here a few times previously, the team is lacking in starting pitching depth. David Buchanan (RHP, PHI), who was just shipped to Triple-A, would most likely return. Jason Marquis (RHP, PHI) has pitched pretty well in four minor league outings (18 IP, 10 H, 1 ER, 6 BB and 18 K with Triple-A Lehigh Valley), so he would be another...
