With a full rotation of arms constantly on the DL since mid-season, free-agent-to-be Garrett Richards likely spending all of 2019 in TJS rehab, and remaining questions as to whether Shohei Ohtani (RHP, LAA) might do the same, little seems certain pitching-wise. On the plus side, performances from rookies Jaime Barría (RHP, LAA) and emergency rotation replacement Félix Peña (RHP. LAA)—3.95 ERA, 8.4 Dom through 11 2H starts—offer some back-end promise.
