Cron's best MLB weekend ever—8 hits and 8 RBI in 14 AB, including 3xBH and his second HR of the week—fueled a 33-run LAA offensive explosion vs. TEX, and guarantees Cron more playing time during the run-up to the All-Star break. The outburst reminded his owners of this past March, when Cron went 31-for-79 including 15 xBH with a 4/9 BB/K, back when he was signaling that he was ready to be the full-time DH and regular 1B caddy for Albert Pujols.
