NL West: Snell’s slow spring among rotation questions

Is it possible that even the mighty Dodgers can have a weakness? Nah, not really. But they are running unexpectedly thin at SP as we enter the second half of spring training.

The first three in the rotation are set in semi-stone (barring injuries, of course). In one order or another, these are the three no-doubters: Yoshinobu Yamamoto (ikely Opening Day starter), Tyler Glasnow and Shohei Ohtani. Another of the Dodgers’ best SPs, Blake Snell, is experiencing a Snell-like cranky shoulder, so he’s being eased into the year. After his rough starts to each of the last two seasons, thanks to a compressed ramp-up period, taking things slow with Snell to make sure he feels comfortable seems justified. But that’s a big...
