DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: NL East—Uggla's PT at risk?

After batting below the Mendoza line for the first two months of the season, Dan Uggla (2B, ATL) has finally started to heat up. In ten games so far this month, he’s hitting .267/.463/.567 with 3 HR, 7 RBI and 0.92 Eye in 41 AB. Upon closer inspection, we see that his ct% is still just 60% over that stretch, but his h%, which lagged at 23% in April and May, has rebounded to 33% so far in June.

Last season was the worst of Uggla’s career as he posted a .220/.339/.384 slash line with 19 HR, a .222 xBA and 68% ct%. His ct% to date this season is the worst of his career, but his 158 PX (aided by a career high 23% HR/F) is his best since 2008.
