NEWS: OF/IF Richie Palacios may miss the rest of the season with a knee sprain.

BHQ SPIN: Officially, the timetable for Palacios’ recovery is four to six weeks, but manager Kevin Cash could only offer a “hopefully” when asked whether Palacios would return before season’s end. The Rays called up 26-year-old outfielder Kameron Misner, and where the trade deadline had left the versatile Palacios in line to be the strong side of a platoon in left field primarily, Misner could get a fair amount of playing time.
