NEWS: Texas activated SS Corey Seager from the IL and optioned UT Josh H. Smith to Triple-A to make room.

BHQ SPIN: Seager looked fit in his brief rehab stint, notably making a stellar defensive play in which he had to sternly test the back that had landed him on the IL this time around. It’s been a struggle for Seager throughout 2026, both physically and at the plate, but a return to his usual form would obviously be a major boon to his real and fantasy managers. Seager will be in the lineup at SS or DH as often and for as long as his health allows.
