Nationals | Jordan Zimmermann avoids disabled list
Washington Nationals SP Jordan Zimmermann (biceps) will not be placed on the disabled list after dealing with a biceps strain. Zimmermann was able to rest the injury during the All-Star break and will throw a bullpen session either Friday, July 18, or Saturday, July 19. If everything goes well, Zimmerman will likely return to the mound Monday, July 20.  Source: MLB.com - Bill Ladson
