Nationals | Matt Wieters nearing deal with Washington
Free-agent C Matt Wieters (Orioles) is set to sign a two-year, $21 million deal with the Washington Nationals pending a physical, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal. Wieters will reportedly make $10 million in 2017 and $11 million in 2018, although he will be able to opt out after the first year.  Source: FOXSports.com - Ken Rosenthal
