Rays | Matt Andriese likely out until August
Tampa Bay Rays RHP Matt Andriese (hip) was placed on the disabled list Monday, June 12, and is expected to be out until August due to a 'stress reaction' in his hip.  Source: Tampa Bay Times - Marc Topkin
 
BHQ take: As projected in a previous report following Andriese's injury-related early departure from his previous start, rookie Jacob Faria was recalled from Triple-A to join the rotation. Faria recorded a PQS-5, with 8 K/1 BB in 6.1 IP in his June 13 start. Faria now has PQS-DOM performances in both his TAM starts. He seems likely to remain in the rotation...
