PT TODAY: Soler returns to help boost MIA in final stretch

Marlins

NEWS: Miami activated Jorge Soler from the IL, called up Chi Chi González and optioned Dane Myers and Josh Simpson to Triple-A.

IMPACT: Medium

BHQ SPIN: Soler, who had missed most of September, returned to the lineup with a bang. He hit his 36th homer and added a single and a walk in four plate appearances. He’s likely to be in the Marlins’ lineup most days, and most fantasy managers will want to do so as well. Gonzalez didn’t fare as well. Entering the game with the Marlins’ up 14-0, he yielded three hits and two runs in an inning of work. Gonzalez has been in the majors intermittently since 2016. He’s not likely to help many fantasy teams during the last two weeks of the season.
