NEWS: Seattle activated OF Julio Rodríguez from 10-day IL and 3B Abraham Toro sent to AAA-Tacoma. 2B/OF Sam Haggerty placed on the 10-day IL and Toro was promptly again promoted to the Mariners.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: Rodríguez was promptly put back into the leadoff spot on Monday 10/3 and went 3-4 with a double. He was not in the lineup for the first game of the double header on 10/4, but back in the lineup for the nightcap. The likely AL ROY winner is hopefully over his back ailments and ready to go for the playoff bound Mariners. Haggerty had put together a nice little season as a fourth outfielder with 5 HRs and 13 SBs in 176 ABs. As the outfield injuries mounted in the middle of the season he was able...
