NEWS: RHP Hunter Greene is set to return this weekend; RHP Luke Weaver was designated for assignment.

BHQ SPIN: Weaver (-6%) was cut from the 40-man roster, which would’ve likely happened sooner if the Reds had their full complement of starting options. Weaver has been bad this season (97 IP, 6.87 ERA, 1.64 WHIP) – and although his expected numbers had improved, it was a case of too little, too late for a team with post-season aspirations. RHP Brett Kennedy (+2%) will get another spot start to build upon his limited MLB sample. More rotation reinforcements are on the way - Greene (+2%) is set to return over the weekend after a dominant rehab start (5.2 IP, 1 ER, 9 K), and LHP Nick Lodolo...
