Ross had started three times and compiled an unsightly 7.47 ERA, but there were still some good things in his performance. His xERA was more than three runs better; his 8.0 Dom was right in line with his performance in 2015 and 2016; and his Ctl of 2.3 was actually slightly better than in his previous seasons.
