NEWS:  SS Matt McLain is on fire.

IMPACT:  Medium

BHQ SPIN:  McLain (+25%) is making a solid case to be the everyday shortstop – in 57 PA, he’s slashing .380/.456/.600. There’s some regression coming (.288 xBA, 101 xPX) – but the bat looks good enough to secure a core role in the lineup. Jose Barrero (-10%) and Kevin Newman (-10%) are the likely candidates for PT loss.
