NEWS: RHP Triston McKenzie will be shut down from throwing for two weeks and is expected to miss up to eight weeks after suffering a strain of his right teres major muscle (back of the shoulder).

BHQ SPIN: For now, we’ve reallocated the innings vacated by McKenzie among several candidates to enter the rotation and will adjust as more news becomes available. The most likely candidates to join the rotation are Hunter Gaddis, Xzavion Curry, and Konnor Pilkington. Gaddis was already slated to open the year on the active roster in a long relief role, while both Curry and Pilkington made starts for Cleveland last season and were recently optioned to AAA-Columbus.
