Mets | Steven Matz activated
New York Mets LHP Steven Matz (arm) was activated from the 10-day injured list Saturday, May 18. The team also optioned RP Paul Sewald to Class AAA Syracuse.   Source: MLB.com

BHQ take: Matz not only was activated, but got the start against the Marlins. Unfortunately for the Mets and his fantasy owners, he struggled over 3.2 innings, yielding five hits, two walks and two runs. He did strikeout six, so if healthy, he remains rosterable in mid- and deep-fantasy leagues. Sewald has been up and down with the Mets. This time around, he was up for just a day.  —Phil Hertz
