BHQ take: Hosmer was injured on a bunt attempt, and is now expected to miss all but (at best) the final few games of the season. It's being reported that it’ll take longer for Hosmer to throw than hit, but that he could get some end-of-season AB as DH to prep for the postseason. Mitch Moreland suddenly vacates most of his DH AB and moves to 1B, as DH is likely rotated among those Padres not playing a full-time position. Austin Nola will...
