Nationals | Bryce Harper placed on disabled list
Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper (thumb) was placed on the disabled list with a left thumb sprain. In a corresponding move, the team recalled Steven Souza from Triple-A Syracuse.  Source: CSNWashington.com - Mark Zuckerman
 
BHQ take: How long Bryce Harper will be out of Washington's lineup will probably not be known until after he travels to Cleveland on April 28th for a second opinion. In the meantime, Kevin Frandsen and Nate McLouth are likely to get the bulk of the at bats in left field. Neither has done much so far...
