BHQ take: Cespedes ends his 2020 “Comeback” season with 31 at bats and a .195 xBA. He did show his historic power, registering a 151 xPX. What the future holds for Cespedes can not be foretold. He’s a free agent after 2020, and those 31 at bats are his first since early in 2018. Cespedes had been used exclusively at DH in 2020. The Mets have a number of candidates to replace the veteran, notably one-time top prospect
