NEWS: RHP Evan Phillips to receive more save opportunities than the Dodgers other relievers according to manager Dave Roberts.

BHQ SPIN: Phillips (3 IP, 0 ER, 1 K, 2 Sv) has earned both of the Dodgers traditional save opportunities this season and looks to be the primary closer despite Roberts not wanting to officially name him to the role. With RHP Daniel Hudson still struggling with knee soreness with no real timeline for a return to the bullpen, we are adjusting Phillips Sv% up 10% to 40% and reducing Hudson’s Sv% by 10% to 25%.  We believe Phillips will still be used in high leverage non-save situations, but looks to be the primary closer for now.
