PT TODAY: Derek Hill to find time as Robles goes back to IL

Nationals

NEWS: Washington placed Victor Robles back on the IL with back spasms and called up OF Derek Hill.

IMPACT: Medium

BHQ SPIN: Robles had only returned from the IL a few days ago; it’s unclear how much additional time he will miss. For now, we’ve reduced Robles’ projected playing time by 15%. Most of that playing time has been given to Hill, who we now project to play about 15%. The 27-year old Hill has struggled in the majors in the past (career .220 xBA and 61 PX over 254 plate appearances), but was thriving at Triple-A Rochester (.381 OBP and .914 OPS over 204 plate appearances). He could be a short-term option for fantasy managers in deep leagues.
