Cincinnati Reds OF Jay Bruce (knee) underwent surgery to fix a torn meniscus in his left knee Monday, May 5, and he could be out for a month.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: RHB Chris Heisey offers the most power among the replacement options, so expect him to be the primary PT beneficiary here. LHB Roger Bernadina and Skip Schumaker will likely see increased PT also. Heisey has yet to flash his typical 120+ PX, with a 58 PX through his first 59 AB. He is running more than in prior seasons, with his 25% SBO% yielding four SB in his part-time role....
