Orioles | Pedro Álvarez to serve as DH
Baltimore Orioles 1B Pedro Álvarez is expected to serve as the designated hitter with his new team. OF Mark Trumbo will also likely shift to right field. Alvarez finished 10th in the National League with 27 home runs last year and was tied for the NL lead with 36 home runs in 2013.  Source: ESPN.com
 
BHQ take: With this signing, Alvarez is expected to be the regular DH against right-handed pitching, but must recapture his 2012-2014 flyball ways (FB%: 2012 34%, 2013 36%, 2014 39%, 2015 27%) in order to take full advantage of his net +45% HR park effects with the move...
