Youkilis traded to White Sox
The long-awaited trade of Kevin Youkilis (3B, CHW) finally happened Sunday. Youkilis' new home is in Chicago, where he should find U.S. Cellular Field (+38% RHB HR) very much to his liking. The question, of course, is whether Youkilis still has the skills to take advantage of his new friendly environment. Sidelined by a back injury during which he was effectively "Wally Pipped" by Will Middlebrooks (3B, BOS), Youkilis has thus far this season (98 PX) been unable to display the strong power skills he had shown over the past four seasons, at least when he has been on the field.
Injuries will continue to be a concern with Youkilis, but the White Sox apparently believe that the further...
