Mets | Zack Wheeler shut down
The New York Mets have shut down SP Zack Wheeler (shoulder) for the remainder of the season. Wheeler felt some shoulder stiffness in his last start but will not need any MRI or doctor's exam.  Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Adam Rubin
 
BHQ take: Purely precautionary—but with the Harvey experience, who can blame the Mets? Wheeler finishes the season with a 3.42 ERA in 17 MLB starts. He has issues with his Ctl—4.1 overall—that should temper expectations a bit in the short-term. But there's no physical reason to think he won't be perfectly healthy and...
