White Sox | Paul Konerko, Jesse Crain on DL
The Chicago White Sox have placed 1B Paul Konerko (back) on the 15-day disabled list because of a lower back strain. The team has also placed RP Jesse Crain (shoulder) on the 15-day DL because of a right shoulder strain. The move is retroactive to June 30.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: For now assume Konerko will return after the minimum DL stay, but CHW is 10.5 games behind in the division and 12 out of the wild card. It's rumored he's an untouchable if the Sox decide to bail, so he may not be rushed back. Jeff Keppinger has shown...
