PLAYING TIME: TOR rotation suffers another injury

Hutchison sent to DL, TOR faces rotation decisions

TOR just keeps getting unfortunate news regarding its starting rotation. Drew Hutchison (RHP, TOR) became the third Jays starter to get injured in four games, joining Kyle Drabek (RHP, TOR) and Brandon Morrow (RHP, TOR) on the DL. Hutchison was removed 9 pitches into his June 15th start, diagnosed with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament and will not throw for at least two weeks. The injury came on the heels of a string of three good outings (PQS 5-5-3) for the 21-year old pitcher. Hutchison is seeking a second opinion on the elbow to rule out a potentially more serious injury, but it does not appear to be more than a strain at this point.
