Left thumb injury sidelines Bourn

NL SB leader Michael Bourn (OF, ATL) was missing from the ATL starting lineup for a third straight game Wednesday. While Bourn's recent MRI revealed no structural damage, ATL is likely to be cautious in returning him to the lineup since it has already clinched a post-season berth.

Bourn's current 39 SB is his lowest SB total in his five seasons as a full-fledged regular, attributable to a marked SBO decline. His SBO has fallen from the steady 38% SBO of his three previous 50+ SB seasons to 27% SBO.
