Tigers | Bruce Rondon has inauspicious debut
Detroit Tigers RP Bruce Rondon made his first major league appearance Thursday, April 25, against the Kansas City Royals, but it wasn't a good outing. He allowed an earned run and three hits to blow his first save, frittering away a one-run lead and win for SP Justin Verlander in the process. On a positive note, he was able to reach 100 mph on the Comerica Park scoreboard radar gun.  Source: The Associated Press
