| The Arizona Diamondbacks placed C Miguel Montero (back) on the 15-day disabled list with a lower back strain Thursday, Aug. 1, and optioned RP Chaz Roe to Triple-A Reno. Montero's DL placement is retroactive to July 29. Also, SP Zeke Spruill and C Tuffy Gosewisch were recalled from Triple-A Reno. Source: MLB.com | |
