The Atlanta Braves activated OF Jason Heyward (appendix) from the 15-day disabled list Friday, May 17, and placed RP Jordan Walden (shoulder) on the DL with right shoulder inflammation.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: Heyward's return likely means a loss of playing time for Gattis, Schafer, Johnson and maybe the slumping B.J. Upton. The latter has a 60% contact rate this season, an xBA of .171 and a PX that's only a little over half of what we project the rest of the way.
