Pirates | Jason Grilli won't close immediately
Pittsburgh Pirates RP Jason Grilli (forearm) said he doesn't expect to immediately return to the closer's role after being activated from the disabled list Tuesday, Sept. 3. Manager Clint Hurdle said Grilli will make a couple relief appearances in non-save situations before returning to the ninth inning. 'Our eyes will tell us what to do with him after that, I believe ... his eyes and our eyes,' Hurdle said. 'We eventually plan on transitioning him back to the closer role.'  Source: The Associated Press
