Casilla struggles again; committee on horizon?

Santiago Casilla (RHP, SF) blew a 10th-inning save on Wednesday, his fifth in his last eight chances. After the game manager Bruce Bochy said that the coaching staff will review the situation and indicated that perhaps a change is in store.

BaseballHQ.com analyst Jeff Tomich noted three weeks ago that Casilla's BPIs are still strong. And the analysis holds: with a 9.8 Dom, 3.2 Cmd, 3.08 xERA and 129 BPV, the skills here are undoubtedly closer-worthy. Casilla remains bitten by an unfortunate hr/f bug (19%) that has shown up at all the wrong times (including Wednesday, thanks  to Brian McCann).
