NEWS: The Padres reinstated 2B Xander Bogaerts from the 10-day IL and optioned C Brett Sullivan to Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move.

BHQ SPIN: Bogaerts, who missed close to two months with a broken shoulder, returned to the Padres lineup on Friday, July 12 and got the start at 2B. He should slot back into his everyday role at 2B (75%), but may get the occasional day off or start at DH (+5%) as he ramps back up heading into the last couple months of the season.
