NEWS: Arizona activated catcher Gabriel Moreno and outfielder Alek Thomas from the 10-day IL, designated catcher Tucker Barnhart for assignment, and optioned infielder Blaze Alexander to the minors.

Moreno (+5% PT) sprained his left thumb but is now recovered and will reclaim everyday catching duties. Barnhart’s (-25%) dismissal means Jose Herrera (+20%) will stick as the team’s backup catcher.
