Cabrera suspended for PED use

For those who wondered where Melky Cabrera's (OF, SF) breakout season came from, we now have more information.  On Wednesday, Cabrera was handed a 50-game suspension for testing positive for testosterone.  His 2012 regular season is over, and since the Giants have 45 games remaining, the suspension would also carry over into the post-season should the Giants make the playoffs.  Cabrera ends his year with a .346 BA, 11 HR, 60 RBI, 13 SB, and a .910 OPS. 

Grégor Blanco (OF, SF) replaced Cabrera in the lineup on Wednesday and should see the largest increase in playing time.  Blanco is hitting .232 with five homers and 19 SB.  His one plus tool is his speed, and he should continue to...
